Jillian Hall has had the pleasure of empowering young people with the resources and skills they need to tell their own stories. She was a Filmmaking Instructor for Austin Film Society’s afterschool and summer youth media programs and has taught filmmaking and Adobe Photoshop to students in New Orleans and Baton Rouge with the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC). In 2016, she was invited to teach a series of film workshops to local students in the Bahamas as part of the Bahamas International Film Festival. She currently teaches Spanish-speaking elementary school students via the Video Postcard Project in which Baton Rouge students exchange short films with a youth media program in Cuba. She'd love to work with more young filmmakers.
